Xbox Game Pass
Xbox brings back Game Pass for $1
After months of having the $1 promotion removed, Xbox has brought it back.
After Xbox raised the price for the subscription, the $1 promotion for new and some other lucky users reappeared on their subscription page.
This could mean good news for a lot of people, as GTA V has just been added to Game Pass again, now with an Xbox Series X|S edition, as well as ExoPrimal Coming later this month, or for anyone interested on the Like a Dragon games, all the main games are there for you to play any of them.
Back in March Xbox had announced that they would be removing the offer in order to opt for better promotions, but it seems that either they haven't found a better option or they think that it now is a good option since they are no longer transforming subscriptions 1:1, such as buying a year of Xbox Live Gold and a $1 Game Pass to get a full year of Game Pass Ultimate.
- Xbox Live Gold and PC Game Pass conversion ratio: Any remaining time will convert to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate time at a ratio of 3:2 and be rounded up to the next full day. For example, 90 days remaining of Xbox Live Gold or PC Game Pass will convert to 60 days of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate time.
- Xbox Game Pass for Console conversion ratio: Any remaining time will convert to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate time at a ratio of 4:3 and be rounded up to the next full day. For example, 90 days remaining of Xbox Game Pass for Console will convert to 68 days of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate time.
- EA Play conversion ratio: Any remaining time will convert to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate time at a ratio of 3:1 and be rounded up to the next full day. For example, 90 days remaining of EA Play will convert to 30 days of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate time.
As the F.A.Q. has shown, the conversion ratio depends on how much time you have remaining of other subscriptions, for example, if you had a Gold or regular PC Game pass Subscription, you'll be given 2 days of Game Pass Ultimate for every 3 days of your previous subscription, the same goes for Console and EA Play, but for every 4 days of regular Game Pass you get 3 days of Ultimate, and for every 3 days of EA Play you get 1 of Ultimate.
It also goes the other way around, if you have Game Pass Ultimate, adding another subscription will not upgrade it fully:
