Prepare for the Superior Serperior coming to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Another Starter trio will be completed for the Mightiest Mark Pokémon, leaving just a few left.
Pokémon has announced a new Tera Raid Event for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, completing the Generation 5 Starter Trio comes Serperior with the Mightiest Mark to the 7-Star Tera Raids.
The event will happen twice: first, from Thursday, September 19th, to Sunday, September 22nd (or Friday to Sunday, depending on your Time zone), and second, from Thursday, September 26th, to Sunday, September 29th. The second run will feature Event Blisseys on the 5-Star Tera Raids, rewarding extra Tera Shards and experience candies.
You can only catch one Serperior with the Mightiest Mark once per account, further attempts will yield only the additional rewards, and if the event were to return, you will still not be able to catch a second one.
Serperior will have the Grass Tera Type, weak to Bug, Fire, Ice, Poison, and Flying-type attacks, being a 7-Star Tera Raid, Serperior will have its Hidden Ability Contrary which will cause the opposite effect of Stat changes on this Pokémon, which mixed with moves like Leaf Storm will increase its attack every time; having the move Skill Swap or the Ability Unaware is recommended to avoid said dangerous combination.
Ignoring Nature, Serperior has balanced Defensive and Attacking Stats, so your focus should be on adapting to its move set; it is very likely that Serperior will have Leaf Storm to combine with its Contrary Ability, reaching max Special Attack in three turns.
To participate in the Special Blissey Raids, you must have completed the main story up to the end credits; open the Poké Portal and Check Poké Portal News through the Mystery Gift menu; the special raids will appear with a glimmer around the icon on the map.
To unlock the Serperior Raid, you must unlock Black Crystal Tera raids by completing a few random raids after the end credits and participating in the post-game tournament. However, if you don't meet these requirements, you can still join the event by playing with someone who has unlocked it through online play or local communication.
