Genshin Impact 5.1 is continuing the story and bringing Xilonen to the game

Hoyoverse has released the latest Special Program for Genshin Impact's Version 5.1, though this time it looked a bit different for those who watched the English version of the program, instead of the usual Voice Actors hosting, we were met with Gabe and Kai from the Localization team, likely due to several Voice Actors being on Strike on the US, which may affect the English voiceover for future versions, though for now that doesn't seem to be the case for the game.

New Quests

Version 5.1 will bring Acts III and IV of the Natlan Archon Quest, as well as a new Tribal Chronicle involving Xilonen.

Just like with 5.0, if you finish the new Quests before the version ends, you'll receive extra rewards.

Travelers will have the opportunity to claim extra rewards linked to Natlan's Exploration completion. Completing specific World Quests and exploring the map will allow you to claim additional rewards. These rewards will be available throughout Versions 5.1 and 5.2, so there's no need to rush to claim them.

New Character

Xilonen will become available as soon as Version 5.1 starts, she has a Geo Vision and wields Swords, her skills benefit from having teammates with elements compatible with Geo (Cryo, Electro, Hydro, and Pyro), though she also benefits if you bring an all Geo team.

Character Banners

Phase I will tentatively last from October 8th to the 29th, it will have Xilonen and Chiori as the featured 5-Star characters, both sword users with Geo visions and skills suited for better exploration.

Phase two, which should last from October 29th to November 19th will include Nahida, a Dendro Catalyst user from Sumeru, as well as Hu Tao, a Pyro Polearm user from Liyue, two great options for combat with their respective Elements.

New Events

Version 5.1 is bringing us back to Sumeru to celebrate Nahida's Birthday, considering that she couldn't enjoy her previous one due to Story reasons.

Chromatic Ode of Candies and Roses This is the Flagship event featuring multiple minigames while you help your friends from Sumeru organize this year's Sabzeruz Festival, you'll be able to ride the Flower Carriage and direct it to avoid obstacles in the first minigame, enter dreamscapes to find unusual objects in the second, and fight monsters inside of special domains in the third.

Aphid Treasure Trace Fight overgrown bees to purify them from Abyssal corrosion; you'll have to use a special net created by Xilonen.

Feast of Pursuit Fight tough enemies inside of a special domain, where you'll be able to pick the difficulty as you please to face different challenges.

Reminiscent Regiment: Thrill A minigame event where you play alongside other travelers to claim the rewards after completing random challenges, some involving fighting enemies, so be prepared to fight in co-op.

Marvelous Merchandise Liben is back in Mondstadt, as his event tends to be, you have to play the game daily to claim the rewards, he changes his request daily, though he always asks for everyday objects, so you won't have issues fulfilling his requests.
