Bandai Namco
The Peaceful World Saga is coming to Dragon Ball Z Kakarot
The conclusion to Dragon Ball Z is finally being adapted into Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.
Bandai Namco has released the trailer for Goku's next adventure in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, and it is the conclusion of Dragon Ball Z, also known as the Peaceful World Saga, though the expansion is called "Goku's Next Journey".
The release date for the upcoming expansion has been confirmed for February, but they didn't reveal an exact date. However, considering the announcement trailer was released in late January, it is not far anyway.
"The Peaceful World Saga" is the final narrative in the Dragon Ball manga or Dragon Ball Z anime. It takes place several years after the conclusion of the Buu Saga. Gohan is now married and has a daughter named Pan, and Goten and Trunks are now teenagers. In this period, everyone enters another tournament, as Goku discovers a fighter named Uub, who he believes may be the reincarnation of Buu, just as he wished for at the end of their battle.
This last saga is very short in the anime/manga, so the expansion will likely be just like The 23rd World Tournament, where you will do a few fights in a short story, though they might expand a bit after the original story, as the game has shown to add small bits of extra lore to the franchise, though nothing too significant to really matter in the overall canon.
