Starfield will let Steam players try the next update earlier
Adding Nvidia DLSS support with frame generation, display, and HDR controls for supported systems, among other things.
Bethesda has announced that next week, they'll be putting their next update on Steam Beta, allowing participating users to try it out before it is entirely out for the rest of the players.
In this update, they have stated that it will feature Nvidia DLSS support with frame generation, display and HDR controls for supported systems, and other optimizations and improvements, usually fixing a couple of quests that stop players from progressing due to a bug making characters disappear for example.
We've been hard at work on @StarfieldGame updates and will be putting our next one into Steam Beta next week.

There is no specific date for when the update will be live for beta players, much less for everyone else, but at least we now know that they are adding Nvidia DLSS support on the next update, a feature a lot of players have been waiting for officially, as it was already available with mods since early access launched, though some versions were locked behind a paywall by the modder.
The details indicate that three of the promised features will be added in this update if Display controls include Brightness and Contrast controls, leaving Ultrawide Monitor support and a button to eat food as the last promised features to come in future updates; who knows what was the priority for which feature was worked on first, maybe an Eat Food button was too complicated to add before the rest.
