Starfield's latest update is out, now adding a FOV slider
No news about the other promised features though, not even the Eat Food button.
Starfield has received a new update on October 9th, 2023, which added one of the promised features that they would add, a Field of View Slider, and that's it; the other things mentioned in the Patch notes are:
PERFORMANCE AND STABILITY
- [PC ONLY] Improved stability for Intel Arc GPUs.
- Various additional stability and performance improvements. QUEST
- Echoes of the Past: Addressed an issue where tunneling creatures could pick a location that would prevent progression.
With this, the remaining features to add are:
- Brightness and Contrast controls.
- HDR Calibration Menu.
- Nvidia DLSS Support for PC.
- 32:9 Ultrawide Monitor Support for PC.
- An Eat button for food.
Hopefully, we get to see these features officially sooner rather than later, as some of these, if not all, are available via modding, which is a commodity only PC players can have at the moment.
Mod Support is a feature that is yet to be added officially to the game; of course, PC players could do it almost immediately, but official Mod Support would allow for Mods to be able to be used on Consoles more easily, just like with Skyrim, the only setback at the moment is that they have stated that it won't happen until next year.
