Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will be playable on Steam Deck

Insomniac has confirmed that Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is Steam Deck Verified just one day before the game's release on the platform this July 26th, which might've come as a surprise, given that the PS5 version needed to be on PS5 due to its requirements.

This could mean a few things, maybe the original version's requirements were an overstatement, maybe the game will run ok but not as smoothly as the original, or maybe they manage to optimize the game in a way that doesn't compromise the game's Graphics and/or Performance too badly.

The only way to find out is to see what it actually looks like when the game is released on Steam and played on a Steam Deck, which isn't too much of a wait considering the game is less than a day away from release when Steam Deck compatibility was confirmed.

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart will come to PC this July 26th and it will be available on Steam and Epic Games Store.
