Pokémon
Kind-hearted water-types are coming in masses to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
You'll have a higher chance of catching Finizen, Lotad, and Horseas with the Kindly Mark.
Pokémon has announced the next in-game event for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet; this time, it won't be a Tera Raid Event since Swampert's Event will still be active; it'll only be a Mass Outbreak Event, where players will be able to catch Finizen (Paldea), Lotad (Kitakami), and Horsea (Blueberry Academy), all with a 1/20 chance of coming with the Kindly Mark.
The event will only be available from Thursday, June 6th, to Sunday, June 9th (or Friday to Sunday, depending on your Timezone); remember that during those days, the Swampert with the Mightiest Mark event will also be active as well as special Blissey Tera Raids, as these event Tera Raids offer Herba Mystica for Shiny Sandwiches (Swampert) if you are interested in shiny hunting the Mass Outbreak Pokémon, and the Blissey Raids offer Experience candies and Tera Shards in case you want to train them to your liking.
Base game players will only get the Finizen Outbreaks, while those with the DLC will also get Lotad and Horsea ones; other than having access to the Poké Portal, there is no requirement to participate in a Mass Outbreak.
Having a Mark on a Pokémon will not have much of an effect in terms of gameplay; it will only add a title respective to the mark when sending out a Pokémon to battle; in this case, the Kindly Mark will make it so when sending out your Pokémon it says "Finizen/Lotad/Horsea the Kindhearted;" normally this mark has a rarity of 1 in 2800 (or 3 in 2800 with the Mark Charm), but during this event, it will be reduced to 1 in 20; if you purchased the Lock-on upgrade you'll have a better chance at finding which Pokémon has a Mark before fighting it.
To participate in this event, all you need to do is enter the Poké Portal and Check Poké Portal News inside the Mystery Gift Menu; you'll recognize the event Mass Outbreaks by their golden icon on your map.
