Next Free Update for Sonic Frontiers revealed along with its release date
Amy, Tails, & Knuckles become playable this September.
During Gamescom's Opening Night Live, Sega revealed a new trailer for the upcoming Sonic Frontiers free update, The Final Horizon.
Not much was revealed during the trailer, except Super Sonic's eyes changing colors from the classic red to blue, probably signifying a combination of the energy from the Chaos Emeralds and the red aura covering him.
The Final Horizon is the last of the promised three significant updates to the game that would come during this year; this time, a new story will be added, along with new challenges and new playable characters, which according to the content roadmap, they should be Tails, Knuckles and Amy.
This final big Update will be out on September 28th, so be prepared since many games will also come out at the end of September and the start of October.
Sonic Frontiers is available on all current platforms: the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, and PC through Steam.
Along with the trailer for Sonic Frontiers, another one dropped for Sonic Superstars, showcasing the game's multiplayer aspect and revealing its release date, which will be in October.
