New Mario Game, Super Mario Bros. Wonder coming this October
Playable Daisy, new power-ups, and a trippy new mechanic.
The final reveal during Nintendo Direct was a new 2D Mario game, titled Super Mario Bros. Wonder, where one of the main mechanics seems to be the Wonder Seed, which transforms the surroundings as if Mario had eaten some hallucinogens.
The trailer shows more lively aesthetics compared to other 2D Mario games, as well as Princess Daisy being a playable character outside of the party games, and a strange Power-Up that transforms Mario into an Elephant.
Other notable things were how they were capable to glide a little by grabbing onto their caps, transform into Yoshis as well as a diving segment.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder will come to the Nintendo Switch on October 20th, 2023.
