Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC will add three more characters

Wave 5 of the Booster Course Pass was announced during the recent Nintendo Direct and it revealed new Characters and a new Course.

The new characters, just like Birdo, come from other Mario Kart games, this time the characters are Petey Piranha from Double Dash (GCN), Wiggler from Mario Kart 7 (3DS), and Kamek from Mario Kart Tour (Mobile), as for tracks, the only one confirmed is Squeaky Clean Sprint, an original new track.

Wave 5 is set to be released during Summer, and taking onto account that the previous Waves came out in March (Wave 1), August (Wave 2), December (Wave 3), and March again (Wave 4), Wave 5 could possibly come during August, but that is just speculation.

After this wave the character selection screen will have 2 "?" left, leaving Two characters to be added during the last Wave probably coming during the Holidays.
