Honkai: Star Rail celebrates awards with a new character for free

Honkai: Star Rail Special Program for Version 1.6 is out, and they have revealed what is coming in terms of Character Event Warps, including three new characters, one of which will come in the mail when Phase 2 starts.

Phase 1

Phase 1 of the Character Event Warps will start when the Version 1.6 launches on December 26th (or 27th depending on your timezone) and will feature the new character Ruan Mei, an Ice-type character who follows the Path of Harmony, as well as Blade, a Wind-type character who follows the Path of Destruction, with their corresponding Light Cones "My Past Self in the Mirror" for Ruan Mei, and "The Unreachable Side" for Blade.

As for 4-Star characters, Xueyi also appears in this Phase; she is a new character, has the Quantum Type, and follows the Path of destruction; accompanying her are March 7th, an Ice-type character who follows the Path of Preservation, and Tingyun, a Lightning-type character who follows the Path of Harmony.

Phase 2

Phase 2 also introduces a new character to the game, Dr. Veritas Ratio, an Imaginary-type character who follows the Path of The Hunt, and Kafka, a Lightning-type character who follows the Path of Nihility, each with their corresponding Light Cone Warp Event, "Baptism of Pure Thought" for Dr. Ratio, and "Patience Is All You Need" for Kafka.

The featured 4-stars during this Phase are Sushang, a Physical-type character who follows the Path of the Hunt; Natasha, a Physical-type character who follows the Path of Abundance; and Hook, a Fire-type character who follows the Path of Destruction.

Commemorating that Honkai: Star Rail won three separate awards recently, Dr. Ratio will be rewarded to players via mail when his Character Event Warp starts, starting Phase 2; players will have until the end of Version 2.1 to claim this reward.
