Genshin Impact
Emilie, Fontaine's most renowned Perfumer, joins Genshin Impact in version 4.8
Along with Emilie, Navia, Nilou, and Yelan will appear on the Character Event Wish Banners in this Version.
Genshin Impact released the latest Genshin Impact Special Program, detailing what is to come in Version 4.8, such as the characters to be featured in the Character Event Wish Banners of that Version.
Phase I
Phase I, which will tentatively last from July 16th to August 6th, will have Navia and Nilou as the featured 5-star characters; there are no confirmed 4-star characters for this Phase.
Navia is a Claymore-wielding character with a Geo Vision and an Ousia-aligned Arkhe. Some of her skills revolve around creating elemental Crystals to boost her Elemental Skill; we meet her during Fontaine's Archon Quest as she is one of the key characters in the story.
Nilou is a dancer at the Zubayr Theater located in the Grand Bazaar in Sumeru City; she wields a Sword and has Hydro Vision; she appears during Sumeru's Archon Quest and will be a fundamental character during Version 4.8's main event.
Phase II
Phase II will be from August 6th to the 27th and will feature the new character Emilie, as well as Yelan as the featured 5-star characters on the Character Event Wish Banner. This Phase does not have any confirmed 4-star characters either.
Emilie is a renowned perfume designer from Fontaine. She wields the Polearm and has a Dendro Vision with a Pneuma-aligned Arkhe; we haven't met her officially in the game, but her Story Quest will be released with her in Version 4.8.
Yelan is an intelligence agent from Liyue. She wields bows and has a Hydro Vision. She appears first during the Interlude Chapter, Act II: Perilous Trail inside the Chasm.
While it is typical for the Special Program to reveal which 4-star characters will appear in neither Phase, it can be speculated which ones might receive a drop rate boost, such as Kaveh, who hasn't received a drop rate boost since his debut in Version 3.6, or Heizou, who hasn't been featured in nearly as long, the last time being in 3.7.
