Genshin Impact 3.8 Main event details

The new Main Event "Secret Summer Paradise" is about to start and here are some details of what is coming to the event.

Secret Summer Paradise starts as soon as the maintenance ends, which is the night of the 4th of July for the America Server, or at least act 1 of the event, the event will have two new kinds of rewards: Fascinating Phenocrysts by playing the minigames, and Joyeux Vouchers by exploring and opening certain Boxes and chests.

Fascinating Phenocrysts can be used to unlock Layla (or her constellation if you already have her), and Joyeux Vouchers can be used to unlock Kaeyas new outfit.

The minimum requirement to quick-start the event is to have finished the Mondstadt Archon Quest to the end, which should leave you with at least Adventure Rank 18.

For a better experience, the event is set after the Sumeru Archon Quest Act V: Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises, and the Story Quests for Eula and Sangonomiya Kokomi.

Minigames

Spino Blaster

Spino Blaster is a minigame where you use a Crococannon to shoot balloons, if you shoot a Brouhaha Ball (Purple), you'll lose points.

Sojourns of the Barking Fox

An obstacle course where instead of using one of your characters you play as the Barking Fox controlling it as you fly through the map.

Dance of Flashing Thought

This is a combat minigame where as you defeat enemies a gauge starts to fill up, when it's full you get benefits, such as a spotlight that damages enemies as shown in the special program.

Bing-Bang Finchball

Looks like a Tabletop game where you boost a small Finch-like object to land on one of the marked areas, different types of Finchballs can help you gain more points.
