Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot reveals more about DLC 5
Back to pre-dbz where flying wasn't common and among the biggest feats was destroying part of the moon.
Back in February, Bandai Namco revealed that the DLC would involve the 23rd Tournament of Power, which any fans of the original Dragon Ball might recognize as the last one before Dragon Ball Z, where Goku was revealed to have grown up and has to fight with the son of the Demon King Piccolo, Piccolo Jr.
The trailer doesn't confirm the release date for the DLC, but it introduces a stage for Ground Battles, which is nice, since storywise, very few characters knew how to fly at the time, another detail is the amount of damage shown, since this is before anybody became immensely strong, the damage numbers seem to be mostly on the double digits.
Since this is the tournament of power, the fights will have the tournament rules, knock out your opponent, or throw them off the stage, which could be interesting for the final battle, since in the original fight (or at least the anime), Goku never touched the outside of the stage even when fighting for his life, nor when the stage was destroyed, he stayed inside the area of where the stage was supposed to be.
