In this Update, players can add Awoken Skill Ultra Instinct to their Avatars, allowing them to evade attacks automatically while also giving them a chance to counterattack; a new event will also start called Festival of Universes, in which players can choose a universe to support and accumulate points by playing several game modes to help.
They are also adding a new game mode, called Cross Versus, in which everybody starts at Level 1, and has to level up along the way; two teams of three compete to obtain mission points and/or defeat the Boss first, the winning team is whoever got the max amount of mission points or beat the Boss first, this mode is made so new and experienced players can participate in an even field; play to your strengths, if your skills are not in the battle aspect, try to complete objectives that you know how to do.
This Update is coming out on October 12th to celebrate the game's 7th anniversary, signifying that even after seven years, the game is still going strong and that Xenoverse 3 is probably not coming anytime soon.
In the roadmap, they also revealed that they are planning to bring the game to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S natively in 2024.
