Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is coming to current consoles and getting more DLC
After more than seven years, they are bringing Xenoverse 2 to the Current generation instead of a new game.
Bandai Namco has announced in a new Roadmap for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 that they are having a new Update, but they have also revealed that they plan to release more DLC in 2024.
A Big Free update is coming on October 12, 2023!

On the Roadmap, they also reveal that they will release Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. However, you can already play the game on those consoles thanks to backwards compatibility, so this could mean that when the game releases for the current generation, it will run better now, maybe even with some improved graphics. But we'll have to wait and see.
At the moment there is not much information about what the DLC will be, only the little information they shared, which is that it will have an additional scenario, more playable characters and "other contents", which with the last one does not say much, but maybe it will be some big DLC.
It also says "and more" after the 2024 content with three question marks, so either it means that they even have plans for the game after 2024, or better yet, it could signify that they have plans for the series after 2024 and finally release Xenoverse 3.
