A Beyond Good & Evil Anniversary edition was leaked by Ubisoft themselves
After over fifteen years of developing the sequel, they will release a remaster of the first game.
Due to a technical error, some Ubisoft+ players were able to play a new Beyond Good & Evil game, more specifically Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition, although it was soon removed from the stores as the game was supposed to be released in early 2024 according to Ubisoft, and only by chance some players already have it.
An early development version of Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition was recently released to some Ubisoft+ subscribers by mistake. We apologize for any confusion and want to assure our community that this version is not indicative of the final game.

Given that the game was out for enough time that people noticed, Ubisoft came out to admit that it was made public by mistake and that the game was not ready yet; the version that some players could get was not the final version, so "this version is not indicative of the final game."
Though the game is a 20th-anniversary edition, the game's 20th anniversary already happened in early November, so it doesn't seem that it will come out on a special date and more when it is ready, as they didn't say when, only that it will be early 2024.
Though they have yet to reveal more about where the game will be available, back in August, the ESRB accidentally made public their rating for the game, and it was rated for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC, though the page was also removed soon after they realized their mistake.
