Where to find Ting-Lu’s stakes in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Find all eight stakes all around Casseroya Lake and catch Ting-Lu, one of the Ruinous Pokémon.
Ting-Lu is one of the Treasures of Ruin found in Paldea; it is a Dark/Ground type Pokémon that you can encounter once you find all eight stakes; these stakes are bright Yellow and are scattered all around the Northwest part of the map.
For some of these, you need to have defeated the Open Sky Titan, Lurking Steel Titan, and the Fake Dragon Titan Pokémon at least, as you need the abilities obtained after defeating them.
Your history teacher, Raifort, will tell you about the locations of the shrines, which you’ll have to visit after getting all the Stakes of each.
Here are the locations of Ting-Lu’s Stakes, from furthest to closest to the Shrine.
First Stake
For the first one, you’ll either have to climb next to the Waterfall northeast of Medali or follow the river, starting from the South of Montenevera.
Second Stake
The second stake is inside the cave; you can either climb up to the surface above it and fall through the hole marked as a brown spot in the center of the picture or jump from a nearby platform if you have High Jump.
Third Stake
You don’t need anything to get this one; it is North of the Second Stake, next to the river, near a waterfall.
Fourth Stake
The Fourth one requires you to climb a small plateau or make a well-placed high Jump to reach it.
Fifth Stake
For the Fifth Stake, you definitely need to be able to Swim and Climb, as the stake is on the side of an islet.
Sixth Stake
For the Sixth one, you need to at least have the ability to Swim and either High Jump or Climb, but if you are already on this island, you should have already battled the Fake Dragon Titan Pokémon, which unlocks the ability to Climb.
Seventh Stake
To get the Seventh Stake, you can either Climb or do some precise High Jumps from the west side of the formation.
Eighth Stake
For the Last Stake, you have to climb up to the snowy part; after taking the last Stake, Ting-Lu´s cry can be heard; go to the Shrine prepared, Ting-Lu is Dark/Ground Type, and will be Level 60 with Rock, Ground and Dark-type attacks.
