Where to find the Stony Cliff Titan and how to beat it?

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet has two separate storylines aside from the typical Gym challenge; in the Path of Legends, you help Arven, the son of Sada/Turo, to get all five Herba Mystica, which help your Miraidon/Koraidon gain new abilities.

There is no set order in which of them you can battle first; all of them but one can be fought at any point of the game, but the difficulty doesn’t change according to your progress, so at minimum, you should have a few Gym Badges on you depending on the challenge; The Stony Cliff Titan is the weakest of all five, so you can challenge it as soon as you start your Treasure Hunt.

Where to find the Stony Cliff Titan?

Klawf can be found in South Province (Area Three), attached to the walls and off the path. It is not difficult to locate, but be aware that it will attack you as soon as you approach. After defeating Klawf, it will retreat to its cave to eat some Herba Mystica. It will then rechallenge you, but this time, you will receive assistance from Arven.

This powerful Titan Pokémon is of the Rock type. It is particularly vulnerable to Fighting, Grass, Ground, Steel, and Water-type moves but is resistant to Fire, Flying, Normal, and Poison-type moves. Additionally, it possesses the Anger Shell ability, which causes its defenses to lower and its attack stats to increase after it loses half of its health.

Moves

Klawf is Level 16 and has the moves Vise Grip, Rock Smash, Block, and Rock Tomb; Block will prevent you from switching Pokémon.

After the Battle

Once you defeat the Titan Pokémon, your Koraidon/Miraidon will gain the Dash ability. The Klawf will appear near the location of your first battle in case you want to catch it. You can identify it by the fact that you cannot lock on to it. You will have to interact with it to start the battle. After you catch the Klawf, it will have the Titan Mark, Granting it the Former Titan title.
