Where to find the Quaking Earth Titan and how to beat it?
Find and battle The Quaking Earth Titan, and get the Glide ability for your Ride so it can fall with style.
In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's Path of Legends, you can challenge almost any Titan Pokémon first, as long as you have a high enough level. Each challenge has a fixed level, so be prepared for the one you decide to go to. The Quaking Earth Titan is a special case. Depending on which version of the game you're playing, you'll encounter either Great Tusk (Scarlet) or Iron Threads (Violet). Given their level, they should be the fourth Titan you challenge.
Where to find the Quaking Earth Titan?
Great Tusk
Iron Threads
The Quaking Earth Titan appears in the Western part of the Asado Desert, so you won't run into it unless you want to.
Battling the Quaking Earth Titan
Battle
You'll battle this Pokémon twice, once by yourself and once after it eats some Herba Mystica; you'll receive help from Arven in the second fight.
Great Tusk is Ground/Fighting Type, making it weak to Water, Grass, Ice, Flying, and Fairy-type moves, resistant to Poison, Bug, and Dark-type moves, highly resistant to Rock-type moves, and immune to Electric-type moves.
Iron Threads is Ground Steel-type, making it weak to Fire, Water, Fighting, and Ground-type moves, immune to Electric and Poison-type moves, and resistant to any type that isn't Grass, Ice, Ghost, and Dark.
The Quaking Earth Titan will have the moves Stomping Tantrum, Brick Break (Great Tusk), Iron Head (Iron Threads), Knock Off, and Rapid Spin; Stomping Tantrum hits twice as hard if it failed the previous move, Brick Break may destroy any Screen/Veil kind of moves, Iron Head may make your Pokemon Flinch, Knock Off will cause extra damage if your pokémon is holding an item, and Rapid Spin will increase the Quaking Earth Titan's Speed.
After the Battle
After defeating the Quaking Earth Titan, your Koraidon/Miraidon will gain the ability to Glide by pressing the jump button while in the air. Great Tusk/Iron Threads will appear in Asado Desert again, so you can catch it; it will have the Titan Mark, which grants it the Former Titan title.
