Where to find the Lurking Steel Titan and how to beat it?

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet has three separate storylines which you can tackle at any point, in any order you want, though the difficulty does not change for the individual objectives; in Path of Legends, the Lurking Steel Titan would be the third Pokémon to challenge, considering its level.

Where to find the Lurking Steel Titan?

Orthworm is located in the East Province (Area 3); it will be poking its head out of the ground in the mines; you have to chase it around before it decides to battle you; after defeating it once, it will go to its cave and eat some Herba Mystica for a rematch, this time, you’ll get help from Arven.

Battle

This Orthworm is Steel type, weak to Fire, Fighting, and Ground-type moves, but it has the Earth Eater ability, making it immune to Ground-type moves and receiving healing from these; it is also immune to Poison-type moves and resistant to any other type that isn’t Dark, Electric, Ghost, and Water.

It will be Level 29 and have the Moves Iron Tail, Headbutt, Wrap, and Sandstorm; Iron Tail may lower your Pokémon’s Defense Stat, Wrap will damage your Pokémon for 2-5 turns, and Sandstorm will summon a Sandstorm to damage your pokémon every turn.

After the Battle

After defeating Orthworm, your Koraidon/Miraidon will receive the High-Jump ability, useful when traversing the Alfornada Cavern; it will also appear inside the Pit near the Watchtower if you want to catch it, you’ll know its the correct one as you cannot Lock onto it, and you have to interact with it to start the Battle, after catching it, it will have the Titan Mark, which grants it the Former Titan title.
