Where to find Meloetta in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Catch Meloetta, the Melody Pokémon with a strange method to obtain, almost always only obtainable via events.
Meloetta is a Mythical Pokémon from the fifth Generation; typically, this Pokémon would be available through Events in the previous games, but now you can get it as soon as you can explore the Terarium in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
There are a few clues as to what to do to find Meloetta, though they are pretty vague; for example, in one of the Classrooms in the Blueberry Academy, two students are talking about how you can spin and how it would be fun to spin in an area where the breeze always blows.
How to find Meloetta
The area where the breeze blows is in the Coastal Biome; you can see the leaves flying in the wind’s direction, except in a small area, there will be a whirlwind nearby, you can see the leaves fly in circles.
While on the whirlwind, the music will diminish and the wind gets louder, start spinning inside the whirlwind for about 10 seconds minimum, then open your camera and change to the Sepia Filter, after a few seconds, Meloetta’s music will start.
Meloetta will be level 70 and have the moves Relic Song, Hyper Voice, Sing, and Psychic; two of these may cause your pokémon to fall asleep, so bring either Awakenings or a way to prevent sleep, such as a berry or a Pokémon with Insomnia.
Relic Song will change Meloetta’s typing from Normal/Psychic to Normal/Fighting, as well as some of the stats, but this will barely affect the fight.
