Pyro Regisvine, strategies, weak points, and achievements

The Pyro Regisvine is a Boss found in the middle of Liyue, next to Cuijue Slope and Tianqiu Valley; defeating it will grant you Everflame Seeds and Pyro Ascension crystals.

Strategy

Pyro is its main element, so it resists it pretty well, as well as the other elements slightly, with physical resistance being a bit higher than most of them.

This Boss swaps between two phases.

The Root phase, which has the most attacks, such as headbutting the ground once or multiple times, shooting small fireballs from its branches (fast towards your current location, or slow that follow your character), Spinning at ground level, Launching a huge fireball towards you, and Flailing its head in half or full circle.

The Corolla Phase focuses more on the Boss's head, flailing it in a full circle and a half, Flailing its head and headbutting the ground as a combo, and summoning multiple eruptions at your location.

Most damage is reduced while its cores are intact; destroy its cores with Hydro to weaken it; these cores are on its Root and its Corolla (the "face") during their respective Phase; you can also use Anemo, Cryo, Geo, Electro, or even physical damage to destroy the cores, but Hydro is way faster. You can attack the Corolla Core the easiest when it does the Flail+Headbutt combo, as it stays down for a couple of seconds after the Headbutt, but you can hit it anytime if you can reach it (with a Bow or a high-reaching skill)

Weak Point

After destroying the Corolla Core once, the Pyro Regisvine will receive extra damage when hit on the head.

After destroying each core, the Boss will become Paralyzed for a few seconds and severely weaken its defenses; be sure to focus your strongest attacks at those moments.

Achievements

Gardener Extraordinaire

Paralyze a Pyro Regisvine by attacking its Corolla.

Destroy the head Core, nothing fancy; the only way you could've missed this achievement is if you were too strong that you skipped the Corolla Phase.

"That Was Blooming Hot"

Defeat a Pyro Regisvine without destroying its Corolla weak point.

Either defeat it while stunned after the Root Phase or keep attacking its body (but not the head) during its Corolla Phase.

Core Meltdown

Destroy the Blazing Seed created by a Pyro Regisvine.

The Huge Fireball attack summons an explosive seed; destroy it with Hydro (or other Pyro reactions).

Defeat a Pyro Regisvine in Co-Op Mode.
