Pokémon
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, What is the recomended order to complete the Story?
You can do some of these before others due to them being of levels very close to each other; there is no wrong order, only harder challenges.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet gives players the "Liberty" to complete the game in any order that they want, letting you go nearly everywhere as soon as you are allowed to ride your Koraidon or Miraidon, but there is a catch: the Level of each challenge is fixed, meaning that if you go challenge Grusha first, you'll have to come up with a strategy against Level 48 Pokémon when yours are barely over 10.
The same goes for The Path of Legends and Starfall Street; there is a recommended order for defeating each Titan Pokémon and each Team Star Boss because if you do them out of order or before you can train your Pokémon to a certain level, you may find yourself facing a bigger challenge than you think. However, these are not as important as completing the Victory Road, which prevents you from overleveling your Pokémon.
The first thing you might think "Well, I'll just finish the Victory Road, and the other two should be a breeze," and you would be right; finishing Victory Road or at least completing the Gym Challenge will leave you with the ability to level up your Pokémon up to level 100 or at least up to a level you feel comfortable, if that is your plan, follow this list only on the Gyms part.
Here is the recommended way to complete the Story in order of difficulty level; the intended way is probably mixing up each type of challenge so you don't skip one, and later, it becomes too easy.
First Gym
The game directly tells you which Gym you should challenge first; it is the Cortondo Gym, West of Mesagoza, which specializes in Bug Types, with levels around 14 and 15.
After this, you can go to challenge the First Titan Pokémon, the Stony Cliff Titan found East of Mesagoza; it is a Rock Type Pokémon of level 16, and after defeating it, you'll gain the ability to dash while riding your Pokémon.
Second Gym
The second Gym would be in Artazon, West of where you can find the Stony Cliff Titan Pokémon. This is a Grass-type Gym, and the Pokémon levels are around 16 and 17.
Then, you can challenge the Open Sky Titan Pokémon, a level 20 Flying/Dark Pokémon, just west of Cortondo and upstream from the river; after that, you'll be able to swim while riding.
You can also go to the Dark Crew's Base, West from the Open Sky Titan, towards Cascarrafa; the Base Specializes in Dark-type Pokémon, with levels around 20 and 21.
Third Gym
The third Gym is in Levincia, found by following the road leaving Artazon; the Gym Specializes in Electric-type Pokémon around Levels 23 and 24.
After this, you can challenge the Fire Crew's Base which has Level 26 and 27 Fire-type Pokémon, found just outside Artazon on its North.
You can also challenge the Lurking Steel Titan, a Level 29 Steel-type Pokémon, in the area North of Levincia; defeating it will grant you the High Jump ability on your ride.
Fourth Gym
Next is the Water-type Gym, found in Cascarrafa, right between the Asado Desert and The Great Crater of Paldea; the Gym leader's Pokémon are levels 29 and 30.
Then you can go to the Poison Crew's Base, northwest of where the Lurking Steel Titan appears; there, you'll battle level 32 and 33 Pokémon.
Fifth Gym
Your fifth Gym can be found in Medali, northwest of Cascarrafa, but you'll have to take the long way around the cliffs to get there, facing a Normal-type gym with level 35 and 36 Pokémon.
Beating this Gym unlocks the feature that allows you to change a Pokémon's Tera-type; to do this, take 50 Shards of the type you want your Pokémon to become to the Cook.
Sixth Gym
The next Gym is in Montenevera; you can get there by following the road going north from Medali; here, you'll face level 41 and 42 Ghost-type Pokémon.
Seventh Gym
Your next challenge is in Alfornada in the southwest corner of the map, a tricky place to get to; you have to go through a cave, and the north entrance requires you to be at least able to do high jumps; otherwise, you have to go the other way, through a small cave southwest of Cortondo, past a small pond across the river, after going through the cave follow the road and you'll come to the west entrance of the other cave, cross it and you'll reach the town.
The Gym focuses on Psychic types, though it also has Fairy types; they will be of levels 44 and 45.
After this, you can challenge the Quaking Earth Titan, a level 45 Ground/Fight(Scarlet) or Ground/Steel(Violet) Pokémon; defeating it will give you the ability to glide after jumping or falling.
Eighth Gym
The Last Gym would be the Glaseado Gym, an Ice-type Gym found southeast of Montenevera, where your opponent will use Level 47 and 48 Pokémon.
Then you can challenge the Fairy Crew's Base, at the very north, at the Base of Glaseado mountain, where you'll face a leader with level 50 and 51 Pokémon.
Next should be the Fighting Crew's Base, Northeast of the Poison Crew's Base; their boss will use level 55 and 56 Pokémon.
And lastly, the Fake Dragon Titan, found around the Islet on Casseroya Lake, there are two fights here, a Level 56 Water-type Pokémon and then a level 57 Dragon/Water-type Pokémon; defeating them will give you the ability to climb.
The remaining battles in each Story besides the elite four won't focus on a specific type, and most will be on levels around the 60s, with the highest being level 66, so just put the Pokémon you like the most on your team at this point.
