How to find the Kanto Legendary Birds in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Find Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, the Legendary birds from the first Generation.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s DLC, the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, allows players to catch the legendary Pokémon from previous games; this includes the first legendary trio ever released, the legendary birds, Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres.
These Pokémon become available in both game versions as soon as you get their respective Treat from Snacksworth.
Be prepared for their fights. Articuno has the move Sheer Cold, a low accuracy move but is a one-hit KO if it lands, and Zapdos has the move Roost, which will let it heal half of its max HP, while the three of them have the ability Pressure, making all of your moves run out faster.
Articuno
Snacksworth hints you to go to a pond with a waterfall nearby; this one is found west of Montenevera; on the map, you’ll see a pond with a small island inside; Articuno is next to the pond.
Zapdos
The hint leading to Zapdos takes you to a lighthouse with a distant town on sight; the East and West lighthouses are pretty near their respective towns, while the north one has none in sight, which leaves the south lighthouse, which has Los Platos in the Distance, and Zapdos is right there on top of this one.
Moltres
Sacksworth’s story talks about rock climbing in the desert, meaning that Moltres is in a high place in the desert; you can find it on top of a cliff in the north part of the Asado Desert.
