How to beat the Fire-type Team Star Base?
Clean up the Schedar Squad's Base and defeat Mela, the Fire-type Boss of Team Star.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's Starfall Street storyline takes you to every base of the game's "evil organization," Team Star. You get help from Cassiopeia and Clive during this adventure. You can challenge the bases in any order, but just like the other storylines, each challenge has its difficulty level set. Considering the difficulty level, Mela's base is the second recommended challenge.
How to reach the Fire Crew's Base?
If you are following the Victory Road storyline, Mela's Base is directly north of Artazon, on the way to Levincia, as it blocks the path.
Beating the Fire Crew's Base
Beating the Base
You can only challenge Mela after going through the entire base and defeating 30 of their Pokémon in under 10 minutes, but instead of regular battles, you have to use the Let's Go feature (Take out your Pokémon with the R button) with the first three Pokémon on your team.
Being the Fire-type base, most of the Pokémon in the base will have Fire as their type or one of them, so they'll be weak to Ground, Rock, and Water-type Pokémon.
Defeating the Boss
Melo only has two Pokémon, Torkoal and the Starmobile, both with Fire as their only type, so they will be weak to Ground, Rock, and Water-type moves.
-
Torkoal (Lv. 27) will only have the moves Flame Wheel and Clear Smog; Flame Wheel may cause burns, and Clear Smog negates stat changes.
-
The Starmobile will have the moves Overheat, Blazing Torque (unique to this battle), Screech, and Swift; Overheat harshly lowers the user's Sp. Attack, Blazing Torque may cause burns; Screech harshly lowers your Sp. Defense and Swift never misses.
