Xiao is an Adeptus from Liyue, also known as General Alatus or Conqueror of Demons; he has an Anemo Vision and wields a Polearm; one of his specialties is his plunging attack, as he receives no damage no matter the height he plunges from, and he can jump high during his Elemental Burst.

Requirements for ascension

• Qiqi or Yanfei, if you have either of them, for an easier time finding materials.
• Access to the Taishan Mansion domain for Talent Level-up materials (Mon/Thu/Sun)
• Adventure Rank 40 or have finished the Archon Quest Chapter I: Act III: A New Star Approaches for the Talent Level-up materials after Level 6 (weekly)

Where to get ascension Materials

Xiao needs 168 Qingxin flowers to fully ascend when reaching some level caps; these flowers appear on high places such as mountain peaks all over Liyue, there are 159 in Liyue according to the Interactive map, and you can buy a few more in Bubu Pharmacy in Liyue Harbor, and the Specialty Shop at Port Ormos in Sumeru.

How to get to the Taishan Mansion domain

The Taishan Mansion domain is locked behind a Puzzle, in which you have to lower the water level before you can enter; Xiao’s materials refer to Prosperity, which become available on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

How to Level up Talents over Lv.6

To level up Xiao’s talents further than level 6, you need to collect Shadows of the Warrior, which are possible rewards after defeating Tartaglia inside the Enter the Golden House domain, which is unlocked after you complete the Archon Quest Chapter I: Act III: A New Star Approaches; if you somehow have reached Adventure Rank 40 and have yet to unlock this Boss, you can challenge him through your Adventurers Handbook.
