XDefiant has been delayed possibly releasing next month
It will launch soon-ish, but the exact date is unknown.
Recently, Ubisoft released an announcement regarding one of their upcoming games, XDefiant; the game will have to be delayed until further notice.
The announcement does not specify when the game will finally release, it can be at any point during September or October.
The delay is not being caused by the developers not having enough time or something like that, as it is more related to the console's issues with the game, such things as compatibility with the console's features, for example: "Are trophies being properly tracked?", "Is my friend's list being properly updated with game status?" and more.
The game is currently inside that process and was rejected previously. It will launch as soon as it is entirely ready, but if it really needs a day-one update, the game will likely be released in October.
XDefiant will be releasing on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, as well as Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Having the news that the game needs more time to develop is always better than not knowing or the game being rushed. However, Ubisoft has been known to release incomplete games and sometimes completely broken, in not a fun way; hopefully, when the game finally releases, players won't have any bad experiences with it.
