During Gamescom's Opening Night Live, a Tekken 8 trailer was revealed, along with a release date of January 26, 2024.
The trailer is full of action and shows many of the characters in combat.
Also revealed was the Arcade Quest, a literal arcade mode where you can customize your own avatar to enter the hub and participate in tournaments.
Some characters are shown to be customizable to wear different types of outfits or accessories, so you can play with your preferred characters in the style you want.
Pre-orders for the game have already started with the Paul Phoenix set for your custom avatar as a reward.
Tekken 8 will be only available on platforms of the current generation: the PlayStation 5, the Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam.
With a release date of early 2024, Tekken 8 is currently without much competition, especially in the genre, so if you are interested, mark your calendar because we are about five months away from the game's release.
