Starfield's biggest update yet is out for all players
Update 1.9.51.0 doesn't add any of the big features everybody is waiting for, but it is extensive.
Bethesda has released the latest update for Starfield for all players, and while it is not adding any of the big changes they say they would add, like the city maps or new modes of transportation, they are fixing and optimizing tons of things this time.
Our largest update to date in @StarfieldGame is now available on all platforms, featuring numerous fixes and improvements. Get all the details here: https://t.co/m2qO8r1pYz

The latest update was already made available for Steam Beta users and included almost all the changes. However, a few additional fixes were added to the Microsoft Store and Xbox Series X|S versions. These fixes addressed rare instances where players had trouble entering the main menu on the start screen and improved the Cloud Syncing of save games on both Xbox and PC through the Microsoft Store, among other things.
Another new change to the patch notes is a fix to a possible crash that happened when trying to change from Fullscreen to Windowed mode on the PC versions.
The rest of the Patch Notes remain the same as from the Steam Beta version, which include tons of fixes in quest bugs and lighting optimizations, such as better lighting in the character creation screen or planets casting shadows on their rings when seen from one of its moons.
Bethesda has previously announced that they will introduce new features to the game this year, along with official Mod Support. They have also stated that they will release updates approximately every six weeks. The next update is expected to come out in mid-March, with a likely release on Steam Beta two weeks prior. Hopefully, they add one new feature by then.
