Horizon: Zero Dawn will be leaving PS+ Game Catalog
Feeding the rumors of a remaster, just like when they removed Spider-Man months before Spider-Man 2 came out.
It has been revealed that Horizon: Zero Dawn Complete Edition will be leaving the PlayStation Plus libraries on May 21st, the same day many other games are also leaving the Game Catalog; though it was not in the Last Chance to Play section, some have discovered that the store page of the game does state that it will no longer be available on PS+ as of May 21st.
The version of the game is the Complete Edition, which includes the Frozen Wilds expansion.
With Horizon: Zero Dawn leaving the service, there has been some speculation that it might be a similar case to when they removed Marvel's Spider-Man, which was removed months before the release of Marvel's Spider-Man 2; some speculate that a rumored remaster for Horizon: Zero Dawn might be on the way due to this.
While a remaster may not offer significant new content for those who have already experienced the game, it is likely to enhance the graphics and other visuals to align with Forbidden West. Additionally, it could introduce more of the accessibility features that were introduced in Forbidden West, making it a more inclusive experience for all players.
Officially, there is no reason to even believe that a remaster exists. Still, multiple mediums already claimed months ago that one was being made according to their own sources, making the rumor more believable. However, there is still no huge connection between the game leaving and the possibility of a remaster coming other than months-old rumors and a similar case happening to another Sony game.
