Charles Martinet no longer voicing Mario, becomes Mario Ambassador
Such an iconic voice since Mario Teaches Typing in the early 90s.
Nintendo has announced in a Twitter post that Charles Martinet will no longer be the voice of Mario and his other characters after about 30 years, as he has now been given the position of Mario Ambassador.
My new Adventure begins! You are all Numba One in my heart! #woohoo !!!!!!! https://t.co/3YWYewlnXt

The announcement does not specify who will be the new voice of Mario, nor if they have already started, but some have said that the voice of Mario in the trailer of Wonder is different, and with this announcement, their speculation is getting stronger.
Charles didn't just voice Mario; he also voiced Luigi, Wario, and Waluigi, as well as the baby counterparts of Mario, Luigi, and Wario, so not only will we hear a new voice for Mario, if not for all of them, either four or more new voice actors or just one with a miraculously very similar range.
The tweet also mentions that they will be sharing a special message in the future where Shigeru Miyamoto and Charles Martinet will be present, presumably to give more details about the announcement and focus on Charles' work; we probably won't hear who the new voice of Mario and the rest will be during the special message.
As Mario Ambassador, Charles will probably do what he has been doing for Nintendo, minus the voice acting, such as attending events as one of Nintendo's representatives and more.
