Sand Land, a new game based on Akira Toriyama's work with the same name.
While somewhat short, the original story is quite entertaining.
During the Summer Game Fest, a new game from Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama, Sand Land was revealed in a trailer.
From what is shown in the trailer, the game might cover the same story or a similar one, being a post-apocalyptic world destroyed by war and natural disasters where greedy people took control over what little is left of the water, hence the name Sand Land.
Some hope that a joke shown in two panels mentioning an "Old artifact", being a Play Station 6 and Dragon Quest 13, which is kinda scary considering this is a 23-year-old joke and Dragon Quest 13 being on PS6 might actually make sense, but most likely they won't add this joke or maybe thy adapt it with a teaser for Dragon Quest 12 (since Toriyama is a known artist for the series), which is improbable.
Sand Land will come to PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, there is no release date set for the game yet, if you are interested in the story, look for the manga from 2000, or wait for the Movie coming out in August.
