Paper Mario: TTYD and Luigi's Mansion 2 HD are coming this May and June
Nintendo has announced the release dates for their latest remasters, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Luigi's Mansion 2 HD.
In celebration of Mario Day, Nintendo has made some announcements related to its latest games in the franchise: the remasters of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Luigi's Mansion 2 HD. Now, they have confirmed their respective release dates.
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
Paper Mario: TTYD will be the first of the two to come out, releasing on May 23rd.
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door for the Nintendo Switch is a remaster of the second Paper Mario game, which, compared to the Original Paper Mario, keeps most of the same game mechanics while also expanding on these, as well as a higher focus on moments that rely on the characters awareness to their papery status, such as transforming into paper planes, or turning sideways to fit into narrow gaps; the Nintendo Switch version of The Thousand-Year Door will remain mostly the same, but with updated graphics.

Luigi's Mansion 2 HD
Luigi's Mansion 2 HD will be released during the Summer, on June 27th.
Luigi's Mansion 2 HD is the HD Remaster of the Nintendo 3DS game Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. It now opts out of the subtitle, as it was the only game in the series with one, and only in America; after successfully cleaning up a whole mansion from ghosts, Luigi now receives the task of cleaning up several in the entire Evershade Valley to restore the Dark Moon, a magical object that keeps the ghosts docile.

Speaking of Mario-related games, remember that Princess Peach Showtime!, the first game with Princess Peach as the protagonist in almost 19 years, will be released on March 22nd.
Aside from these announcements, Nintendo has also revealed that they are working on a new Movie set in the world of Super Mario Bros., though it won't be releasing anytime soon, as that one is announced to come out in 2026.
