Marvel's Spider-Man 2's latest update adds dev menu by accident
New Game+ is out, and it comes with a new Trophy, and an oversight that lets you get it early.

The latest update for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is out, and it adds some highly requested features, especially for players who care about appearances for the Photo mode.
Among the game's additions is New Game Plus, which lets players relive the main story with all the upgrades they received during their original playthrough and the chance to get a few extra ones; other additional features involve useful things for the Photo mode, such as the ability to change the time of day during the Post-game, instead of it being locked into a sunny day, or the option to change the tendrils of the Symbiote abilities to match your suit.
However, there is an issue that is being worked on to be fixed, as players have discovered that with the update also came the ability to open the game's debug menu by pressing the Pause button and the Touchpad during gameplay, which may lead to some opening it by accident, the menu by itself won't affect your file, but be careful if you decide to mess with some things, as Insomniac has acknowledged this issue and they say that it may corrupt your Save File.
⚠️ We're aware the latest game update may have inadvertently allowed access to a development game menu. There's a hotfix on the way.

Please note that using this menu could corrupt your saves and trophy progress.
There is no risk associated with playing the game as intended.
The update also adds a new trophy obtainable through New Game Plus, but thanks to the accidental Debug menu, some players have received this trophy by skipping the entire story and finishing the game, even if it has caused them problems with their games.
