Like a Dragon Gaiden is Adding the English Dub this December
If you want to hear Danny Trejo voice his character in Infinite Wealth, you'll have to get used to Kiryu first.
Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have released the latest trailer for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, though it was more intended to showcase the English dub of the game, as it was the same Story Trailer they revealed during the Like a Dragon Direct in September, only with English voices.
Along with the Trailer, they have also confirmed in a Press Release that Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name will finally receive its English dub in December, though they didn't say exactly when.
Fans eager to dive into Japan's criminal underworld, karaoke, and Kazuma Kiryu's story can play Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, available now. Like a Dragon Gaiden depicts the events leading up to and includes a playable demo of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Like a Dragon Gaiden will receive a free English language dub on all platforms in December 2023.
Some fans of the series are a bit apprehensive about Sega's choice of Kiryu's English voice actor, Yong Yea, as from what was shown in trailers and the voice actor's Twitter posts, the performance might seem a bit lackluster at times, or they think it doesn't fit the character, but now you can judge for yourself when the English dub is released this month.
